Workingworkingworking...

Trying to finish as much as I can before next Monday when I leave for a miniature convention. I had fun decorating the gazebo. The tiny bows on the fairy wands were hard to make-but worth it. I added sparkles to the cauldrons. They are for Merlin's magical potions. Fun but time consuming work. I still wonder how I am going to get 240 tiny bows made in time for my topiary workshop!

Hope everyone is enjoying the long holiday weekend!

  1. Oh my goodness. That looks so time consuming, but they are darling. Best wishes this week.

  2. We were lucky and found parking early this morning downtown. My teaching obligations were Wednesday night and so we spent today playing. We were back in GR by 4pm. Chris was gracious enough to take the girls to the carnival area so that I could sneak into a couple of stores without Josie. I always go to the Wilson Antiques and Bay West Antiques. They tend to be overpriced in comparison to GR, but it's always fun to explore. Have you been to Somewhere in Thyme on Chicago Drive in Grandville? I love that place.

I hope you've had a great week! We're leaving again on Saturday for Detroit overnight (family stuff) and then we fly out Monday for FL. I'm already tired of traveling with a four year old.
