Inspiring Photos

First, I have to admit that I cannot (for unknown reasons to me) join Pinterest. Perhaps it has something to do with Apple...as I use my iPad to blog and for all my computer needs...and I admit it that my old brain does not keep up with all things technical. The good thing is, my iPad will let me save images that I find online very easily. And so I do...and am inspired but so many things. I am including five images that 'WOW' me. Someday I hope to make my own versions of what is captured here.

Truly Scrumptious

I am just home from Chicago where I had such a great time!
I attended 'Truly Scrumptious', a Wee Forest Folk event in Lombard, IL, sponsored by Fairy Tales, a store in Lombard.
There were games and prizes and food and candy and desserts! But most of all- there were specially hand painted mice!
I am sharing pictures of the mice I came home with-one will arrive later since it was a sell out.
Aren't they wonderful!

Christmas in July!

I love Christmand and I love Mary Engelbreit...so when I found that she had a sale on Christmas ornaments and decorations, I jumped at the chance to save money!
These were all half off AND I didn't have to pay shipping (I spent that much....ohoh).
Well, now I have a head start on some Christmas gifts. I wonder what I can part with?!
Oh, I also posted a picture of the tiny owls I just received from a miniature artist from Australia. I will sell them at the Wee Forest Folk event this weekend in Chicago. Fun times ahead!

Pink!

I am joining Beverly for Pink Saturday!
I wasn't sure that I had much pink in the house...but found some of my favorite things are pink!
The first two are lamps; the last three are prints and ornaments by P. Buckley Moss. The ornaments were too lovely to put away after Christmas so I put them in a frame. Love the angels!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Cloches Part 2

OK, I'll admit it-I am a cloche hog....
I already posted (#19) but I did not post all of the cloches in my collection. And I forgot one of my favorites. So...since this party is still going, I decided to post again and share three more in my collection. They all include miniatures. The first is a fairy with an even tinier fairy and a bunny. The second is the white rabbit (made by the Wee Forest Folk factory) from Alice in Wonderland. I had to include this...I just found the glass jar which looks like a clock and knew he would look wonderful inside! The last cloche has a bunny ballerina (also made by the Wee Forest Folk). Notice the tiny pink ballet slippers hanging from the ballet barre. Just adorable-or so I think!
Thanks for visiting!

Cloche PaRtY!

I am linking up with Marty at 'A Stroll Through Life' for her 'Summer Cloche Party'. Cloches and domes are at the top of my favorites list so I am excited to share a few pictures. I have many more throughout my home but chose just the following for this party.

Probably my most favorite is a small lantern with miniature flowers (made using real shells) and my favorite elf.
The next picture is of an elevated glass dome with three of one of my newest collection of glass candy made by Patty Hulet. Love the chocolate mouse!
Next up is a picture of my collection of glass teapots, pitchers, cups, miniature cloches and etc. I have a mouse (Wee Forest Folk) tea party going on. If is is hard to see the details, let me know and I will take more pictures-I really enjoyed collecting for this display!
Then there is a picture of a cloche my R. John Wright Peter Rabbit on my coffee table. I elevated this dome so I could put a wreath at it's base-looks more like a garden with the raspberries branches.
The two small cloches next are covering two miniature displays with my Wee forest Folk. My home is filled with mice and miniatures and my collections.
Thanks for visiting!
