Wasting time....
I should be working on my Mouse Expo projects but sit in front of the computer and waste time. I decided to post the picture of my new elf again here so you can see him. I finally noticed only half of him shows up in the other picture.
Tomorrow is full speed ahead!
Another short night...
I am still working hard, trying to finish so many last minute projects before the mouse convention. I shipped off two boxes yesterday~I always say I won't enter so many contests every again after spending so much on all these entries along with the cost of shipping things there! I need to remember that next year!
Anyway, I thought you might enjoy seeing another picture that has more detail~thanks for Kim I know how to post pictures you can enlarge! Please excuse the clutter behind the 'stuff' behind the displays. I ran out of room with all the projects I am working on. I will take a picture of the whole display at the convention ('Shipwrecked on Treasure Island').

Worked late into the night...
...and got so much accomplished. Mouse Expo is next week and I have entered so many contests. I do get carried away! Hubby is up at the lake doing yard work so I am free to do whatever. Almost hope that he will stay another night. So much left to do...so little time!

Exhausted but happy...
Home from Chicago. I need to go soak in the tub but had to post a few pictures of what made me happy...new miniatures!
My mouser friend couldn't make the trip but I had so much fun, anyway. Staying in a hotel room by myself last night seemed decadent but I loved it! It was only one night~stayed with another mouser friend the first two nights. So lucky to have such good friends who will shop and eat out! More tomorrow!

Tough few days...
...but could have been worse. My Mom collasped several times Saturday morning. She left a garbled message on our answering machine...so we took her to emergency and found out her new medication caused her sodium levels to drop dramactically. Good news is she didn't break any bones in her falls. And they figured out whay the levels were so off. So she is recovering with IV's and feeling better. They even brought in the spine specialist to help coordinate treatment on her back problems. She had a treatment today. I am crossing my fingers that the cortisome shots will help. We don't want her to go through major surgery again.
I did find time to work on a few contest entries for the mouse convention in three weeks. I will post one here. Now I need to decide if I am still driving to Chicago...but my sister will be home tomorrow to help. Mom seems so much better.
We shall see!

Home again, home again~
Just home from a few days at our youngest son's home in SC (Brian). No big agenda-just time spent with a much loved son. Problem is, you miss them so much when you leave.
The good thing is, I did find time to shop for seashells. The guys didn't seem to mind and I found some terrific shells. I hope to finish two different miniature displays using the shells in the next few weeks. One is for a charity auction at the mouse convention in CA. The other will be part of my 'Shipwrecked on Treasure Island'(or 'Mouse Family Robinson on Treasure Island')display contest entry at the same convention. I forced my husband to stop at one of the big artisan stores in WV. I should have taken a picture! It was HUGE. So much to see and buy. Luckily I am choosy and only bought a few cards and a tiny stump with handcarved mushrooms. It is so wonderful...it will join a fairy in a large glass jar. The fairy is having a teaparty with a tiny mouse. I leave for Chicago in one week for the big miniature shows. Can't wait to find more treasures!
