We visited one of our favorite places last weekend....beautiful Charlevoix, Michigan!
Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, it once was a lumber town. Now it is a tourist destination with quaint shops, fine food and a ferry to the islands off the shore. It used to be the summer hangout for mobsters as well as families from Chicago. Charlevoix boasts about the stone homes built by Earl Young. The art galleries are wonderful-it is a rare visit when I don't find a treasure to take home.
it is always a joy to spend time there. Well worth a visit!
I am joining Laura over at Decor to Adore for Wayfaring Wednesdays. Thanks Laura!
How did I not know about this lovely gem? On to the bucket list for sure.

What beautiful pictures! I would have a hard time leaving such a pretty place. Thank you, Lee, for the kind words you left on my blog about the job-that-wasn't-to-be. I totally agree that we have to be content in knowing that "whatever is meant to be will be." I hope that you have a wonderful week. Tricia
