Celebrating Rednesday!!!

I am joining Sue at 'It's a Very Cherry World' for Rednesday!

Every Tuesday, I join my dear husband on a drive to our favorite pizza place for supper and cars! I must admit that I take my iPad or a book while he drools over all the hot rods (I just cross my fingers that he doesn't bring another one home). His red '56 Corvette is that strange orange red but I think it qualifies for Rednesday. I added two more pictures of great cars we saw, then I went to find shade and a seat so I could read.
One of the next pictures is a new purchase-and it is red! I hope to display a miniature picnic with my Wee Forest Folk.
Finally I had to share my TERRFIC bargains! Everything in the final picture added up to $280-but I only paid $28!!! Wowie zowie!!! I love 90% off! My sister and I cleaned out two stores trying to sell off their summer items. Can't wait until Halloween goes on sale!

  1. I'm totally jealous of your summer clearance items. I need to definitely get there after Halloween! It's a fun store!

  2. Your hubby has expensive taste. The old cars are great, but very costly. I am glad you still call the evening meal supper. I am corrected every day, that is is dinner not supper. It has always been supper to me and will stay that way. It is hard to change old habits.

  3. My fav is that red truck! Love those rounded curves! Liked your other post too, the deer running back in the woods and the cat with the red heart headband were my favs. Adorable.
    Have a lovely day,
    Blessings, Nellie

  4. If I could find as much red as you did in one day, I'd feel as though I'd died and gone to heaven!

    I am feeling red today—
Better that than blue, they say.

Red is such a cheery shade,
    Sweetest color ever made,

    Brightens everything you do—
Better red, they say, than blue!

  5. We have a car show once a week in town, and I just drool over all of the muscle cars! LOVE your little red Corvette, you lucky girl!
